Miracles Everyday

Miracles Everyday Part 1by 'Femi Oguntolu

God is a miracle worker. He is a specialist in the business of making moves which, by the natural laws, are not possible. He lives in the realm of miracles. All that God has belong to his children. Therefore believers are suppose to enjoy a daily life of miracles. In fact they should work miracles. An unbeliever may get a miracle once in while but believers are meant to experience miracles all the time. However some believers do not enjoy a life of miracle as they should because they do not understand how to do so. A lot hop from church to church, moutain to mountain, and meeting to meeting just to lay hold on God's supernatural move in their lives. Getting a miracle from God is not that difficult. All that is needed is understanding. I will like to share the following proven steps to getting and enjoying a miracle from God with you.
1. Desire, ask for, and expect a miracle
A lot of people seek God without a definite desire. The two blind men had a desire. They knew exactly what they wanted from jesus (matthew 20:32). They had a definite desire. Getting a miracle requires a strong desire for one. Crying and asking God how you got to your present state wont work. You need to rise and make demands. You need to desire it. You must also ask for it (matthew 6:7-8). Verse 6 ssuggests that God does not give his good things to people who don't want them. You must expect the miracle. A lot of people pray so much but dont expect anything. How many prayer point have you prayed last week that you still remember?. You forget  because you didnt really expect them to be answered. Children dont forget what they ask from their parent. They expect such request to be granted. Stay expectant. Keep believing until it is done.
2. Acknowledge the source
God is the source of the anointing for miracles and he must be acknowledged and believed. A man who wants to work out things for himself will not receive from God. You must acknowledge the sovereignty of God. He must be acknowledged as the only source. A double minded man (a man who has an alternative to God) will not receive from God (james 1:6-8, Hebrews 11:6). When you acknowledge God as the only source, he undertakes for you
3. Walk in obedience
Many of the miracles in the bible happened as men obeyed. Peter obeyed. The stewards at the wedding of cana Galilee obeyed. The widow of zarephat obeyed. Elijah obeyed. The ten lepers obeyed. I can go on and on. Miracles happen when we obey instructions. Stop complaining. Go and do whatever he has told you.
Watch out for the continuation tomorrow.

God's Got You

I was on a trip recently and we drove into a difficult terrain. The driver did well by maneuvering the terrain well and got us safely out of it. However, during this drifting, I doubted his professionalism to get us out safely, in fact I panicked, I gave my opinions and advise based on my experience of driving. Unfortunately, my driver will do the opposite, stating reasons why my counsel will not work and truthfully, his judgement always proves to be right and at the end he drove us safely to our destination. This experience got me to think of how many times we have given God our thoughts and advice on what he should do or should have done. We tell him the direction we feel is right for us to go and at times drag the steering with Him. God is to be trusted. The moment you make him the driver of your life, you can trust him to take you safely to a glorious destination. The terrain may be difficult, He might drive you through surprising and difficult places, just hold on and trust him. H...

Nigeria At 55: Look Back...Look Forward.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 55th independence anniversary and while pondering on what to write to commemorate our 55th independence day celebration, I discovered there are a lot of perspectives I could write from. So many topics and issues quickly raced through my mind, like, '55 Years After; How far so far?' 'Independence or Dependence, Where are we going? Etc. But in the midst of it all something exceptional dropped on my mind; which is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving? Yes. Thanksgiving. Many would be quick to analyse, condemn, discuss and compare the state of the nation being 55 years after we got independence, well, that's not bad. But isn't it good for a man at 55 to thank God for the years past spent? Ask any 55 years old man and he will tell you it has been rough and tough, appointments and disappointments, joys and sorrows, ups and downs, successes and failures, but yet he will be grateful for the privilege of being alive to see 55. How does Nigeria fit in...
