Amazing July; Advancing Life

Welcome to July!!!

Every great man in the scriptures that did exploits for God had one thing in common, the Lord was with them.

Talk of Enoch, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, and the apostles. But what actually guaranteed the Lord to be with them was that they did things that pleased God always.

Jesus said, 'And he that sent me is with me; the Father hath not left me alone for I do always those things that please him' John 8:29

Joseph, Moses, David, the Apostles and others including Our saviour Jesus were God -pleasers. They did things and took steps that pleased God per time.

Therefore, as you embark on the journey of this second half of the year, prepare for exploits and supernatural advancement. But then, you need to move from being a Man-Pleaser to God-Pleaser. Do things that Please Him, talk to please Him, Walk to please Him and Live to please.

But note, pleasing God comes through the help of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, rely on the Holy Ghost to help you live a pleasing life unto God. He is a dependable helper, always available, ever reliable.

This is the month you've been waiting for, your path is shining brighter and brighter, you are moving closer to your destiny and God's presence is making the difference in your life.

Welcome to July, your month of supernatural Advancement.

Nigeria At 55: Look Back...Look Forward.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 55th independence anniversary and while pondering on what to write to commemorate our 55th independence day celebration, I discovered there are a lot of perspectives I could write from. So many topics and issues quickly raced through my mind, like, '55 Years After; How far so far?' 'Independence or Dependence, Where are we going? Etc. But in the midst of it all something exceptional dropped on my mind; which is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving? Yes. Thanksgiving. Many would be quick to analyse, condemn, discuss and compare the state of the nation being 55 years after we got independence, well, that's not bad. But isn't it good for a man at 55 to thank God for the years past spent? Ask any 55 years old man and he will tell you it has been rough and tough, appointments and disappointments, joys and sorrows, ups and downs, successes and failures, but yet he will be grateful for the privilege of being alive to see 55. How does Nigeria fit in...

Relationship Basics

W elcome to a brand new month and week. September is going to be a wonderful one for you. Human beings are relational beings. You were created to relate with your environment, and importantly, other humans. Surprisingly, while most individuals have learned and succeeded  relating well with things they failed relating well with human beings. This is always displayed at work,  class, home church and everywhere humans are present. One major problem in relationship is misunderstanding. And chief among it causes is superiority complex.  The truth is you will always find it difficult to understand anyone you feel superior to. In any relationship where you feel you are better than the other person either intellectually, materially,  financially, spiritually or in any other way, that relationship will always be plagued with problems and eventually break. The reason is simple. It takes humility to understand someone else. Understanding is a combination of two word...
