...YET

Welcome to a brand new Monday morning. The motivation for today is just very simple but powerful. All I need you to do is just discover the force behind a three letter word that will trigger your hope and faith as well as change your conversations. Ready? Let's take it in.

There is a way you describe your circumstance or situation that reveals  whether you've given up or thrown in the trowel. At times it shows if you still have faith or not and whether you are still hopeful or not. For example, I don't have a job, I don't have a good job, I don't have money, I don't have the admission, i'm not married, I don't have a child, i'm not healed, the business isn't moving etc.

As sincere as these statements are, there is a need to change those conversations and expressions. We must understand that whatever situation we are in, it's just for a while. Your present state is just a walkway to your hall of fame; a stage to prepare you for the bright future ahead, it's a process to refine you to become the most expensive and celebrated being on earth. Therefore, be bold, be hopeful, be courageous and be confident that the fact that things aren't working doesn't mean they won't work; they are not just working YET.

That's the word. Yet. Yet. And Yet. This simple word is powerful; it instils hope and put faith and optimism in your expression that there's light at the end of the tunnel, and it's not over until it's over. Anytime you use the word yet, you're simply saying 'I may not have it now but i'm sure I WILL still have it'. 'it might not have happened but it sure it's going to happen'

Someone is saying 'Yomi my back has just been put against the wall, and another is saying I just suffered a defeat recently; but you know what, just say to yourself it's not over YET. Your back might have been put against a wall and you suffered a defeat but if you don't give up on yourself you're coming back stronger and better. And next time you want to describe your situation or circumstances just add that word, YET. I don't have a job YET! I don't have a good job YET! I don't have money YET! I'm not married YET! I don't have the admission YET! Business isn't moving YET! I don't have a child YET! etc.

It's going to be an amazing week for you because it ain't over YET, and your best is YET to come. Go out this week joyful and excited about your future because it's so bright beyond your imagination.

You and your Weakness

S o many times I have had interactions with people on particular negative habits they exhibited and more often than none their responses has always been, 'that's just my weakness'. Therefore I attempted to learn more about weakness and thus I'm sharing with you my discoveries about weaknessess. First,  a weakness is a crack in your wall. When you don’t master a weakness, it leaves you exposed, helpless and defenceless. Those who don’t pay attention to their fallibility fall in disgrace and face dismays.  Examples of weakness include but not limited to, Lack of organization, Exaggeration,, Discontentment, Gluttony, Procrastination, Lack of time management, Lust, Excessive spending, Anger, Jealousy, Impatience, Pride. Arrogance, Talkativeness, Inability to keep secrets, Inconsistency, Hot temper, Non-challant attitudes, Sluggishness, Indecisiveness. Lying , Laziness, Fear, Not knowing how to say no, worrying, rudeness and many more. There are 10 major thing...

Career Fulfilment

Many of us work an average of eight (8) hours a day five (5) days a week between the age of 18 to 65. The amazing fact about this is that we spend a total of 100,000 hours of our lifetime working. Can you then imagine doing something that doesn’t give you fulfilment? One of the keys to career fulfilment therefore is to enjoy what you're doing. It's burdensome to be doing what you don't like or created to do. It's totally frustrating and time wasting. And that's the reason many people are not productive in their work. When I said productive, I'm not talking about acquiring material possessions because even some that engage doing what they don't enjoy doing have been able to acquire cars, built houses and have the 'toys of life'. Productivity here is mind creativity; a sense of fulfilment, a sense of joy that comes from doing what you are wired or created to do.  This is the difference between those working to make a living and those working to make ...

Favour Demystified

W elcome to another Wednesday’s insight series.  I believe you are set to get another insight today so, let’s dive in. Dictionary defines favour as an act of kindness done or granted out of goodwill. It is also to show preferential treatment to someone. Favour is derived from the same root word as Grace, CHARIS. And this makes favour to be as powerful as grace. But while grace is totally unmerited and unearned, favour can be deserved, gained and entreated. There are two dimensions of favour; favour with God and favour with man. The greatest dimension is to be in favour with God because when you have that, favour with man comes cheaply.  You don’t beg for man’s favour when you are in favour with God, God himself will cause men to favour you-He will cause you to find favour with people regardless of how high and mighty they are.  Another truth about favour is that it does not have prejudice for colour, race, gender or location. You’re a candidate for favour as long...
