I was opportuned to see Acrimony some months ago and I observed in the movie that one relationship basics that was flawed even before marriage was Trust. A negative seed was sown the day the guy was caught with another lady. Trust was broken, and years after marriage could not mend it; that I believe was the origin of their destruction. Essentially, without trust, relationship is dysfunctional and problematic, full of suspicion, jealousy, fear and worries, the end result is breakdown and that without repair at times. Basically, trust is a two party system, the person doing the trusting and the person being trusted. The person trusting is taking a risk, because there's no trust without risk especially when it comes to humans. But it is a risk worth taking . The person being trusted is bearing a responsibility to be trustworthy. You were created to relate with your environment, and importantly, other humans. Surprisingly, while most individuals have learned and succeeded  relating well with things they failed relating well with human beings. This is always displayed at work,  class, home church and everywhere humans are present. One major problem in relationship is misunderstanding. And chief among it causes is superiority complex.  The truth is you will always find it difficult to understand anyone you feel superior to.
